The Art of Material Placemaking

Essentially, this full-floor property overlooking Melbourne’s historic Fitzroy Gardens shouldn’t exist. But the vision of the owner to combine a number of individual apartments into one grand home in the sky gave us the chance to create a piece of engaging content that captured its sheer scale and ambition.

To market this exquisite home at Level 19 – 35 Spring Street we focused on the interior design’s textures and materials, interviewing the designers about their expansive approach to space and light. With time-lapse, sweeping drone shots and detailed close-ups, we told the story of ‘the art of material placemaking’ through the eyes of the visionary people who crafted it.

Reflecting the gallery-like scale of the property we also created a cloth-bound ‘artist’s book’ brimming with photography, featuring embossing of our branding that suggests the layered facade of the building itself.
